Just bought my Trailblazer August 12th, first truck I'll be modifying. Lots of great info on here, itching to get moving on mine. Bone stock as of right now, just working on fixing/replacing what was broken on it when I picked it up, hoping to have it lifted around spring time.

It's an 06 LS, has 101k on it, runs beautifully, and the 4wd works.

Nice truck, Derek, looks like a good starting point. What engine, gear ratio, and rear diff does it have?

Be warned! Once you start, there is no stopping! The mods just keep coming. There was rumors of an intervention program for the mod addiction, but no one came. Everyone was working on their TB/Voy.

Can you imagine the ideas we'd all come up with together? From mounting CB antennas, to awnings on custom roof racks with solar panels and power inverters. We'd all end up spending even more money on our rigs!

Haven't looked into what gear ratio yet, but it's a 4.2L Engine. Still concentrating on the missing/broken bits. Stupid stuff, the cup holder inserts were all gone, center console is broken, it's missing a piece (I think) around the rear glass. Had to do brakes, they were warped, and pads down to the back plates. Next steps are oil change, filter change, then the trans/diff/tcase fluid changes. I imagine at that point I'll know more about the gear ratio it was equipped with.

Welcome! You most likely have 3.42 gears (look in the passenger glove box and you will find the code that tells you which one you have, GU6- 3.42, GT4- 3.73, GT5-4.10, G80- locking rear diff). Most of the guys on here go with 4.10 or 4.56 gears, but that all depends on what size tires you want to go with.

Installed the 2" Rough Country kit, finally. I like it, but I feel I'll be swapping the rear out for Tahoe springs/struts in the future.

Long time since I did anything to the TB, but today I finally went and replaced the tires with some 265/75 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Next step is getting my LT bumper painted, and fog lights installed.

I am new here and really looking to do the lift and tires. Did you have to do wheel spacers on these tires or do they fit just fine?

Anything over 30.6" you will need wheel spacers or adapters
