I haven't been in much mud, I don't know many spots to off-road here, as I am new to having a 4x4. Once I so tires and spacers, I will probably only try to add a light bar or some hella lights maybe. After that it's all maintenance and things of that nature. Of course once I do those things I'll find something else to spend my time and money on lol

Looks like I have a 3.73 gear ratio so 33's should only impact my mpg if I am reading the gearing chart right. Is that correct?

Any change in tire size to any gearing will impact your gas mileage. Also, keep in mind that as you lift these trucks, they also become less aerodynamic which adds stress to the transmission too. Even with 3.73 gearing, you'll notice it downshifting a good bit more on the intertate. Even though per the gear calculator you're in the "economy" zone, I'd put a transmission cooler on it as soon as possible to prolong the life of the trans.

I wish I knew how to weld! The only welding Ive done is on a plastic boat that I got for free.

Mounted it right to the frame. I Made like a long T shaped bracket across the front of the frame and bolted it to holes that were already there (not sure what for) and cut a notch in some 3" pipe, slid it in, and welded the shit out of it.

Sure thing! the only problem I have run into with mounting it there is ground clearance. it hasn't been a huge issue yet, only 1very minor scrape so far, but is tough enough to handle it easily. But its much better than destroying the radiator with a fender bender like store bought push bars!

Got my spacers today, install tonight after church then the tires this weekend

I got my spacers in last night, driving to school today I noticed my steering wheel shaking a bit around 60-75mp. I know there is a post somewhere on her about someone having the same problem and they fixed it. If you know where that post is or have advice on how to fix it I would appreciate it

My advice is, pull the tires and make sure the spacer's are properly, completely torqued, then reinstall your wheels and make sure they are on properly as well.

Thanks, I asked the shop I went too for tires to take em off and reinstall them and they did it for free. 85% less shaky. I think the other portion is the new tires. They are more aggressive than the performance tires I had on before. And 2.2 inches bigger and bouncier. ( basically rides more like a truck) this will take getting used too

Well, if you have any worn part's in the front, heavier tires will make those part's known lol.

True. Also does the spacers setting the wheels further away from the cab make bumps more pronounced.
Let me rephrase. A lever has more torque the further you are from what your trying to turn. Will this same effect be true for bumps in the road?

No particular reason for asking just a thought I had.

A good question, and accurate assessment, however I haven't been able to notice that effect.
