i dont have pictures yet of my build but i put a 3" cheap block lift on the 08 tb for now. im looking at running this, could use some advice. massive adj upper/lower control arm kit, markmc 3" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 1.5" wheel spacer 6x5.0 skyjacker softride coils c24r, fox 2.0 struts in the rear... I'm currently deployed not sure if this will work. also ill be using my stock TB rims 17" what would be a good tire size with this lift?

Old Stage is closed half way through now at the lake for some reason. Maybe it'll be back open by then. Who knows with CDOT. They do close Rampart Range for the winter at Garden of the Gods as well. smh

That depends on what you want to do with it and how you want it to perform. I'm currently running 32s on 3.42s with an extra trans cooler, and I have had no problems at all. However, I never tow anything and I've made terms with the power I'm losing with the crappy gear setup.

Probably not but I will see where the army takes me if there's no good offroad spots then I guess it'll end up being a mall cruiser so I won't have to worry bout the gears

If need be, leave it in third for lower 50-65 mph speeds. Just don't let it shift up and down a billion times a minute.

Welcome. And first of all, thank you for your service. (Should've been the first thing said.... I digress) take your time and search this site brother.. It's a plethora of info...( and time is all you have.) Obviously our tbs aren't rolling around with armored "V" hulls and planetary gears.. But... These little basterds are fully capable of making great long lasting memories...that said... Choose your mission, and plan accordingly.. If end state you want to go get rediculous, then plan now and fund it..( again you only have time) don't fiddle //// with a 2" lift if your planning to keep this bitch your main supply line to life... Speaking from experience it's best to spend the money while you have it and can plan for the worst and hope for the best... All implications implied...again... Thanks for doing what less than 2% of the worthless shit bags of society will never do... Demon4-3... Out.

You'll find it'll look a lil goofy with 32s and the body lift and suspension lift, I ran around like that for a couple years LOL

Even with a cooler you stand a decent chance of running into some issues overheating the trans going with bigger tires though. If I remember correctly Regulator had 3.42 with 35s? He ended up getting a trans heat warning on the way to badlands and we had to pull over to let it cool. Probably won't be any big deal just running around town though.

Some guys don't swap bearings, they just slap in the ring and pinion as long as the bearings look ok. It's usually recommended to do a rebuild though.

I think you'll find many guys would recommend you go with 4.56s as you look at 33 and up sized tires.

Sure you can. Sam do you have a 5.3L or a EXT TB? Highly suggested to swap rear end (in you case since you have a 08 you need a 06+ out a EXT or SWB 5.3L) because you get the bigger 8.6" ring gear and more aftermarket locker support. Plus the bigger axle is stronger. Many members just swap to SS 9.5 axle with 4:10's.
