Hello everyone,

I just joined the forums. I have a 2005 LT with 3.73 gears and the G80 package. Until this week it was stock as a rock. I just installed the MarkMC 2.5" lift with his 1.5" wheel spacers along with a set of Bilstein HD's all the way around.

I am getting ready to put new rubber on and am considering the Yokahama Geolander A/T-S in 265/70-17. I don't plan to do any hard core off-roading but do a lot of camping, hiking, backpacking and pull around my Yamaha TTR-250 so want something that will be a good for a mix of highway and rough roads. I wanted something to get me in and out of the places I want to go with out any concerns with getting stuck.

I am still undecided on whether to get the 265 or 255s. Comments are welcome. Anybody have pictures of a TB with 255/70-17s. I looked through the board and could find some 265/70-17 but none with 255.

Welcome! Sounds like you'll be having fun with your TB.

As for pics of the 255's, check out the 265/75/16 section on the Tire Size Chart. The dimensions for that size are pretty close the 255's you're talking about and will look about the same in a picture, aside from the smaller rim.
