Hi guys!

New member (I suppose that's why we post here...) who just got their hands on a bit of a stripper model 05 Trailblazer LS!

I was interested in a fairly streetable, still fairly capable truck. I know those are opposed goals in some respects, so I am leaning a little more towards the street side. Right off the bat, she needed new tires, new shocks, struts, and springs all around. Over 200k miles and everything under the truck was stock, and factory. Was a good time to go ahead and swap in a 2.5 inch lift! I also ended up replacing the UCA's for trashed bushings. I swapped the rear axle for an 8.6 after finding my old one was a goner, and set the truck up with 4.10s (Anyone else hate the front diff?) Currently waiting on a replacement wheel (one is bent BAD) and a new DDM. The GMRS/HAM and CB radios are going in soon, along with a bit of recovery gear and a somewhat intelligent dual/tri battery setup (Probably going to use hellroaring components, i've had good luck with them!) Also, new speakers and headunit, along with a rack and some sort of spare tire setup and portable winch. Skidplates coming soon! Maybe a used set if anyone has em! Here's how she sits now on some 265/70r17's i had laying around:

Gonna be fun on a bun! Already got myself knee deep in mud and rock once before, a nice little 6 mile adventure down by the river to get some fishing in. I hope to have fun around here!

Howdy, looks like you're pretty squared away already, it's good to see! It is a goofy front diff deaign, but does seem reasonably robust till you start getting silly.

By the way, be sure to post up if/when you get into that multi-battery situation. I'd like to add a spare or possible two at some point as well.
