I have been searching this site along with another prior to purchasing my 2008 TB. Apparently, I got the wrong differential, lol. Such is life. I appreciate all of the effort you all have put into the TB over the years to help make my decision easier. I'm sure I'll be bugging a lot of you soon.

Welcome, cerealbyter, to the forum. As a new guy here a year ago, I've found the wealth of info here invaluable in keeping my TB healthy and happy. BTW, there are no "wrong" differentials, just selections for different applications, ;-)

Appreciate it!

Lol, after I joined here I discovered I have the GT4 instead of the ever elusive G80. It's all good. I'm not doing any rock crawling. Just some hunting and fishing.

GT4 is gearing. G80 is its own code for the factory locker.

Welcome

EDIT: 3.73 ratio FYI

Shows how much I don't know about this thing. I looked up where you find out if you have the g80 and all I could find was to look in the glove box. All I saw in the code thingy was GT4. Apparently, I have a ton to learn about this still. lol. Thanks for letting me know though.

I like the black but I love the Olive Drab TB I saw a while back. That's more than likely where this thing is going.
