Time to go active. Did the lift and tires this weekend. Mellow-ish trails around deer camp don't warrant a Rad skid but I'll be saving my pennies to get one of mike's. Then I'll just have to figure out an oil skid for my 5.3. With the lift and 265/70/17 I should gain access to a couple spot that had to be hiked in with all the gear.

Thanks for the guidance, even if you didn't know I was going that way.

I am running with Mark MC's old 3" lift with BDS 5500 shocks and Bilstein HD struts up front. The truck drives better than ever and is ready for hunting season. Next on my list is deciding whether to install an aftermarket locker or finding a 3:42 rear with the g80 locker. Thank you all for sharing what you know!

Do you have some pics from the process. I wish to have one like this. Let me see what you did for the latch. and the hinge. I know Karo have some but more info I have, easier will be the task. thank

Welcome, TankGirl, it's great to see another TB driver in BC. Where are you located? I see a lot of TBs and Envoys here in Abbotsford, but none are modified for trail use, they all seem to be alternates to minivans. Fill us in on your plans for your truck, please.

I keep coming back to the idea of grabbing another Trailblazer. I've recently starting looking for the right one to replace my ZR2. There are some really nice builds on here, that have made up my mind for me. Hopefully I'll be back to posting, instead of lurking.

New to all this I have checked this forum out before just trying to get ideas. I have an 04 tb ext 3" suspension lif, with bistiens in front and coiled shocks in the rear as well as hd springs. 255/70r17 bfg m. Soon I will have the 3inch body and hoping to get 35s under it with a little tweaking. I've made it my plan to have the biggest and meanest tb ext in CT.

New to the site. Loads of great info. Getting ready to install 3" suspension lift, swap and flip control arms, new rear shocks and wheel spacer/adapters. Looking to move on to body lift in future. Wanting to get dirty in some south florida mud.
