Hey! I don't want to be a lurker! I'm a rookie, and a newbie to the forums. I was instructed by a few to sign up here. Well here I am! I have a 2006 Trailblazer. Just completed a z71 spring and strut swap. Rides like death sometimes but it will do lol. Bilstein HD's up front with Markmc 2.5" front lift on order. Im a family man, outdoorsman, ride ATV, love to camp and hike, and my recent decision to modify my "Family car" has been my new obsession. Wish list a mile long about sums up where I'm at in my build.

Bill I feel like you've got a lot of amazing pictures somewhere. Do you have any online that we can browse? :)
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Hello,

I am Ryan i have been lurking for a couple of weeks. i am purchasing my first Trailblazer in the next 3-4 months. I have been reading and doing my research in order to know exactly what to look for when purchasing my new to me TB. Once i make my purchase i will be lifting with 3" liftmiester, 1.5" spacers and around a 31" all terrain tire (bfg). Thank you all so much for all of your hard work making this site very informative and extremely easy to navigate. hope too see some of you on the trails in the Las Vegas area this summer.

Welcome Ryan!
Great idea researching before you buy.
If I were to buy another TB, I would look hard for a V8.

Let me know if you need anything. There are only a couple of us here in Vegas. What part of town are you in?

Thank you guys for the warm welcome!

A v8 would be nice but i haven't seen one in the want adds. also with that it will also be my daily driver so gas milage is somewhat important. My anticipated budget will be between &7500 and $9500. so far I've only been able to find 4x4's in that price range with any ware from 80k to 125k miles. i hope this isn't a lot of miles for a TB. my current car is an 03 Malibu with 235k so i know Chevy's can do it. My biggest challenge is a lack of workspace and an even larger lack of tools and of course having to keep a budget. Im really looking forward to buying and building a trail worthy TB. Again thank you for the warm welcome.

Larry i am in the east side of the valley (Lake Mead and Mt. Hood) it also looks like you are a HAM. I'm sure by my screen name you can tell i am as well.
