Just wanted to say hello. I have been off-roading in my tb since i got it last december, nothing to hard-core though due to no lift and just some a/t tires, that will be fixed here very shortly. I get anouther installment of my bonus in january and plan on getting the bds lift/z71 springs, and just recently read of the markmc 1/2 in add-on. looking to get some wheel-adapters and a wheel/tire package with some 33" m/t's still doing research on exact size and brand to order. so any advice is greatly appreciated! wanting to stay on 17's, but willing to go to 16's. also plan on a g80 rear end swap w/ 3:73's. I will have around 5,000$ to spare in january, and plan on making this truck what i have always wanted.

Awesome plans man!! It's great to hear when someone does a lil of their own research. Thats what makes this site superior to the O/S.

You will definitely be happy once you get your build started. I must say I absolutely love the ride now and can go a lot more places with it now. :flex dirty:

As far as 17" rims that will work just fine, there are a bunch of people with them on this site. It's more so they 18" plus wheels that we steer away from offroad-wise. I'm not sure if the guy is still on eBay with the really good deal on BFG M/T's but they are something to look for once you get started. (Thats where a few of the guys here got their tires from) and from what I've heard are very happy and it is a steal.

Also the G80 is a very good idea to swap over too. Very helpful offroad.

But welcome, and look around for some great ideas from the experts here...

Welcome to the site. My TB isn't lifted yet so I know the feeling. I can't wait to get my bonus either, but mine is going to pay off loans. I need tires now so that gives me an excuse to lift and go bigger now.

No problem, I love what I do! Also HARDTRAILZ thought I'd tell you that i actually enlisted from the Avon recruiters office back when i lived in Danville. Can't wait to come back to Central Indiana in ~18 years when I retire! Originally from Laporte Indiana, but from age 18-20 I lived in Indy area!

Then we can do some :camping: and :flex dirty: .

I am from SE Indiana, Batesville, but have been in Indy for 2 years and just out to the Westside and love the area.
