Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Hello

New members: please introduce yourself here.

by KE7WOX » Tue Sep 29, 2009 3:40 pm

I'm new here, old at Trailvoy. I'm Felipe, also known as N467RX or KE7WOX. I've had my 04 TrailBlazer LT 4WD since 09/11/2008.

I do like to go offroading in places where my current setup (stock everything, 245/65/17 Michelin LTX M/S tyres) can go.

And I live in Northern Arizona, where Forest Roads and County Roads are abundant (and so are mining ghost towns)

Ohhh mannnn! Arizona! Post up some cool pictures from the area when you do some trail rides, as the wife and I are planning to make a drive through there in the coming years... the transcontinental drive... its a goal at least!

Ooops, didn't see that you already posted good pictures....

By the way, we are curious... how did you find this site?

It was on your Trailvoy sig James (I was actually looking for the page where you have all the mods listed)

As of now the only mods planned are a lift, Z71 shocks/springs and 265/65/17 A/T tires (probably Wrangler SilentArmor). What I'll probably do is the tires first once my current tires are worn or damaged beyond repair and then the lift, because a lift with the current 245/65/17 tires will make it look like I'm running on spacesaver spares.

I took exactly that picture recently while getting 33's put on my Mojave rims, after I did the body lift to fit them. I slapped my stock 29" Continentals back on for a couple of days for fun. Eek!

Yep. I mean it already looks like that with the current height, so imagine with 2.5" more on the wheel wells.

Great to have you aboard. I know how it feels to have a relatively stock TB, but one day we'll be rolling with the big guys aroung here. :flex dirty:
