Glad you found the site! I'm sure we can learn as much from you as you can from us.

What's your goal for this SAS TB? KOH sorta stuff? desert running? rock crawling?

Im after a rig I can use for everything, but I dont want to be held back by some of the more challenging trails here in Utah.

Im not sure what I will do for suspension. Im wanting to build something that is easy duplicated, and try to do it on a budget. It would be nice to not go over the top and scare anyone else from trying it.

If I like how it turns out, it just may end up in kit form.

Here are the parts I have laying around right now...

42x15x15 TSL swampers on Bart 15x10 8 lug beadlocks.
1986 Ford high pinion Dana 60 front axle with 4.10 gears.
10,000lb winch

I would like to end up on around 37-40" radials for street use, then use the swampers when I trailer to a trail.

:pale: Just the thought of 42" tires on a TB scares me. Lol. But it would be a sweet rig once finished! Not sure it could still be called a TB anymore though beyond the sheet metal!

I had an '86 Z. Nothing too crazy. 4 bolt main 350 pulled from an '80 'Vette. Small cam, etc.

All very nice looking rigs! I like the simple look of those tube bumpers... and diggin' the red step side, I had a similar looking Silverado.

Is that 99 for sale? I have seen that truck before. My wife and I were laughing because we could drive under it and not hit. :viking:

You must be south of me near the Springville area.
