Well im checking out 2 at the moment, both 02s, around 140k in mileage.

One has a salvage title for $4500
Other has clean title for $5500

I need to find a clean low mileage one for around 3k then Id be set!

Im not digging the color, both are pewter  but still will look ok when done.

I just wanted some color!

Nice rides. I notice you've used leaf springs in your past conversions. Thought about if you're going to use leafs on your TB build or link the front instead?

We use a 4 link + panhard in the rear stock if you hadn't had a look at one yet.
11 Silverado LTZ - 6.2L/6l80, 2/3 drop, self tuned
85 Hilux - 3RZ, dual cases, caged, 40s, chromo everything
02 TrailBlazer LTZ - 35s, lockers, balls - Gone but not forgotten - Build

I know the stock 5 link stuff wont work in the rear for me, just not the right geometry for a foot of lift and moving the axle back.

My 4runner was a double triangulated 4 link in the rear, but Im not sure what I want to do on this one.

Trying to keep it simple for it being easily copied will most likely end up using wrecking yard leaf springs front and rear.

Not sure on front leaves. I was thinking 4 link and coilover front. But did think rear leaves would simplify things.

I got a set of chevy axles and a set of ford but life and first baby keep it a dream for a bit longer.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

A true 4 link front (double triangulated) isnt very easy to do with traditional crossover steering.

3 link with panhard, or radius arms and panhard would be much easier to setup.

(Keep in mind a 5 link, is just a poorly setup 4 link.)

Leaves are simple, and they work very well if setup right.

If you are 700 miles from home, and blow out a coilover on a back road, is it easier to find a old leaf spring, or a coilover?

I just want simple and reliable. ( but I may end up with links... )

I'll admit, I wheel with the heated seats on, and the auto climate control going... and I feel smug whenever I do. LTZ FTW. :finger:

Thanks, Its not great, but not bad.

It needs some front end work, so... The build may start sooner than expected.
