So I've been lurking around this site and Trailvoy for a while. Mostly reading and getting ideas for where I would like to put my Trailblazer. I live in southern Maine and have discovered many trails with varying difficulty within 45 mins of me. The whole idea of lifting my tb came from my trip up to the Allagash last summer to hunt down some abandoned trains. There were some crappy parts of roads/trails which I knew stock I couldnt do. Thats when the mod bug hit hard. Taxes came back and ordered Marks lift, some bilstein hd's (which im regretting get the rears, i want to upgrade to the bds 9500's) air bags and some 1.5" hub spacers. Just waiting for some side work money to come in so I can get the 32" meats.

After the tires I'll be moving on to recovery equipment, front bumper and some under armor. Eventually I'd like to get the 8.6" rear end setup with a g80, open diffs are killing me.

I typically dont post much, but I read. I'll offer up advice when I feel I can offer something of value and not try to post whore to get my post count up.

As she sits right now

Welcome. That first pic looks sweet.

A trailblazer should always be properly armed. Looks like you got that covered.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Well as it is right now, my next purchase will be tires some mud terrains of some sort. Body armor has been difficult in getting what I want and making sure it will do the job. Oil pan skid is a must, saw a member here that is making aluminum skids (which im not too thrilled about using aluminum) but also has a steel version, which I may go with. Then it gets interesting, I want to incorporate my lower radiator skid in my bumper. After hours of browsing and looking at ideas/designs of bumpers, Teebes bumper really got my ideas going. I really didnt want to add more weight to the front so i looked at tubular bumpers but they didnt fit the truck well. With Teebes bumper there is that center sheet metal section that comes down a little bit, id like to carry that down to protect my radiator. Even if its a 2 piece bumper, I'll be getting that look and protection I need.

As far as my wanting the 8.6 rear end, that idea came from (and correct me if im wrong) reading a few threads and checking out some ARB air lockers. Air wont be a problem since I'd like to install an onboard air system with a small tank hidden in a custom made tool box in the back.

I could go on and on about my ideas, all I really have to say is, my Trailblazer has met and exceeded all my expectations and I love it like it were my child haha. I'm hoping to have a few things in place by the next Tecore event, I would really love to go, looks like a blast!

Thank you as well for the warm welcome, I'll do my best to contribute to this community as best I can!

Have you seen the way I did it? Worked well for me, you can do something similar with a Teebe's-esque bumper. Shouldn't be too hard really.

Maybe September again... that seemed like a good time for it last year. Would love to have ya!
