Now that the lift block is under the air spring, I had to adjust the sensor down, which is opposite of the direction the spring will behave. Adjusting the sensor down, will cause the senor to register that the vehicle is too low, and cause the spring to fill with air, raising the vehicle. I had to do this on both sides, and it was a tedious process adjusting, re-leveling, adjusting again.

  • Lift vehicle by rear differential (if you have a good enough jack) or lift each side separately
  • Place axle stands under each control arm behind the tire (not sure the name, will post picture)
  • Remove tires
  • Remove fuse (picture to be added soon)
  • Measure straight up from middle of wheel hub to bottom of fender on both sides for reference.
  • Adjust sensor up or down depending on what you want using 10mm socket, there is a little hole on the arm, that lines up with a hole behind it, when those are aligned, the sensor doesn't trigger an inflate or deflate

Went to my local pick-n-pull and found several vehicles with still okay condition roof cross bars. It was 50% off that day also, lucky me, so it cost me $16 CAD for both. I plan on supporting a roof top tent on the factory cross bars, it should be okay. I found that the weight capacity of the roof rack is 220lbs in the manual. Refer to section 2-62 at the url below. Not sure exactly if that means the cross bars can hold that amount, but, if you have 4, should be better!

Picked up a used Tepui Kukenam Sky 3 person tent. It was pretty easy to lift onto the roof rack with a second pair of hands. Wrenching up the mounting brackets took a little bit of time because the amount of room under the rack is limited but it wasn't too bad. Took out the tent for a camping trip and really liked it. The camp site was 3 hours away and I had no issue on the drive. I slept 2 nights and had no issues with tent. The tent felt solid on the roof rack.
