My mission is to keep DD caracteristics so my wife can handle it in the winter, but gain off-road abilities for hunting, fishing and camping. i started looking into lifting the TB over a year ago and took my time reading and researching. It took some time but decided to save up and go for broke..
I have a good buddy with a lift and after a few adult beverages talked him into helping me install the lift. Replaced brakes and rotors all the way around, installed the lift, flipped uca's in about 6 hrs.. One mistake i made was to adjust the radflos after everything was back together.gave up on it and here is where it sat first day.
I ended up having to unbolt the UBJ and tie the uca out of the way(much easier), to get them up to the 3" target.
. Thought i would use the stock rims 18x8's but the offset would have limited my tire size even with spacers. So i ended up getting adapters to 6x5.5, 17x8 steel wheels and 275/70r17.
