Light Bar Install

After looking on here, I decided to install a light bar so I could add roof lights and also marker lights
I had used roof lights on my landy and wanted them on the TB.

I used the same method as others and secured it to the factory roof rails

I had metal plates on the bar to mount spot lights
For the marker lights I used flush mount LED lights

For the connections all wires ran through the bar and out to a Waterproof Deutsch Connector,
that way the bar could be removed if needed, the hook up ran through the plastic cap on the rail, drilled through the roof,
sealed it and ran the wires through the roof lining to the front to hook up with the side light wiring.

I ordered a 32" Traffic Advisory Bar and once it arrived I set about mounting it.
I wanted it on the roof and being as my front light bar worked so well, I decided to use a similar method.
First I made a taped aluminum piece to slot into factory rails.

Fitted in the rail

Then I mounted the bar with 2 red button led marker lights

To mount the TAB it uses x3 1/4 x 2" bolts in a groove to secure.
The wires were ran down the rail and through the roof to the switch module.
The finished install shown below

To control additional lights that are slowly being mounted to the TB,
I needed a way to mount them,
this is where the switches that I used to have mounted in my Land Rover Defender 130 came in....

Removable 12500lb winch

This way it can fit in the receiver hitch at the back or in the future be mounted to the front depending on need of recovery....

Wiring will be connected by Anderson plugs and the front and rear plugs will be switched by BlueSea battery switch.
