The wife was making a mess of the Trailblazer so I took it over and bought her a van...

I know this isn't GMT of Tvoy but its part of my build so...
First thing I did when I took over was upgrade the headunit/speakers. I had only one of four factory speakers that still worked, all else were dead!

Fronts are Eclipse SC6500 6.5" components. The fronts fit well no shimming needed.

Put the tweeters in the dash in the stock Bose location. I didn't have Bose so I had to make some simple mounts.

Rears are MB Quart PVM 216 6.5" components. The rears were too deep and needed some shimming to stay away from the window regulator.

Then there was the amp...It's an Eclipse PA5532 5 channel. I didn't want to loose much, if any, cargo space. Surfed the web and found this..

Liked it and tried to replicate. I ended up with this.

Finally bought my 14 bolt. Looked long and hard to find a decent shape "cheap" one. Picked it up for $300, under 100,000 miles. Got the driveshaft shortened 1.5" at a local driveline shop fro under $100. Napa u-joint #447 to connect our driveshaft to the 14 bolt. Cleaned up my old rotors and reused them.
