What the hell, everyone else with a non trailvoy has one, so I might as well too

1999 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) Sport

Drivetrain
d30/chrysler 8.25 (for now) 4.0I6, np231... just stock jeep stuff

Suspension
4.5" Rustys coils plus 2" spacers
4.5" rough country shocks all around
Homemade leaf pack with s10 springs
2" lift shackle
Rustys trac bar
No sway bars :finger:
Short arms for now... not trying to put too much money into suspension and axles until I go one tons

Exterior
Snorkel
Cab lights
Lots of dents

Interior
Bedlined floor

Recovery
30' static strap
Rear hitch with tow hook
A Shovel
Farm jack

I soon realized taking a leather, 2wd, expensive, 2006 trailblazer off road wasn't going to cut it...

So 1000$ later I found this with only 117k miles :)
Dented to hell, but its a trail rig, I don't really care. Runs like a top and only leaks a little but of coolant... sometimes
I still have the tb... shes the tow rig now, it gets the job done.. barely

The XJ is not insured, and gets trailer-ed everywhere. I cant say how much better it is on the trail knowing you don't have to drive what your offroading home. Seems to make it a bit more capable too :flex dirty:
