Tbss rear end swap

G80, GU6, GT4, GT5, WTF? This section is for gearing and driveline stuff.

I currently have a 2007 4.2 trailblazer with a 8.0 rear end and 3.73 gears with g80. I was looking to swap in a tbss rear end i got but was wondering if i would actually need to shorten the drive shaft. A lot of posts say you only need the napa ujoint 447 and it will bolt up. The truck is 2wd and not lifted.

I think HARDTRAILZ did this swap. You might be able to find a post by him, or PM him.
