G80, GU6, GT4, GT5, WTF? This section is for gearing and driveline stuff.

Ok so I'm planning everything out for my build and trying to learn about all this stuff along the way (I'm not a mechanic at all). I will be regearing the trailblazer to 4.10s from 3.42s, I have had help from some others and they said it is 8.6" 10 bolt 30 spline count. However I have only found 1 locker that is 8.6" and the rest are 8.5" I have been told that you can run 8.5" lockers with some modification. Please let me know your opinion! Thank you

Nevermind, they had it backwards, that you can fit a 8.6" locker in a 8.5" open carrier but not an 8.5" locker in an 8.6"

Let me know if you ever want that stuff you said you were gonna buy...
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I know kyle it's been like 10 years since that, believe me I'm still planning on it, got into more debt than we realized but after I pay everything off with income tax I'll get it
