G80, GU6, GT4, GT5, WTF? This section is for gearing and driveline stuff.

All, As with many newbies I wanna know which rear axls I have, Although I am Unsure still, I did a google search and came up with this.... Is this what I need to use to look up my axle?

Have you tried the search feature for the site? We actually have a list of the codes in the tech docs.

It's not just that, I think this question is asked in about every axle thread or new person introduction. Matter of fact, I just answered it: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=4990

RPO Codes for gear ratios:

GU6 = 3.42
GT4 = 3.73
GT5 = 4.10
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Any of them.

I see GU6 right there, so that means you have a 3.42 rear end gear ratio, no mention of G80 anywhere, so most likely, open rear end. (NO FACTORY LOCKER)

All the 3 digit numbers are RPO codes, or GM's codes for options. :thumleft:

Got to read man, MikeKey gave you all the info right there, all you had to do is search for one of those 3 codes in which he supplied you with.
