So I'm planning on replacing the fluid on my diffs this weekend. I went to Checkers to get the gasket and they gave me the one that the system said according to my specs (2004, 4.2L, 4WD), but the box says it's for an 8 1/2" ring 1964-96. Is this the right part for an 8" one? or did they give me the one that fits the 8.6"?
if it's not the right one, does anyone have a part number or description so I can get the right one?
8" diff gasket part number?

My gasket was plastic with a couple of ridges, so I've never changed it.
