There is also a first page if you didn't see that. But they are more expensive.

And yes you could just get a non locking one form there and get an aftermarket locker. That is what I'll be doing sometime.

Wont be fixing the G80. I'll just get a Ext rear and throw another locker in there. Maybe do that over the winter.

And it all depends on when, but I wouldn't mind getting out once more.

More broken G80's?

The only locker available for the 8" rear ends is the G80... or a welder.

Yep, mine no longer works...

Would have helped out a ton on the trail ride we just came back from. So my plan is to get the 8.6" rear and throw a Lockrite in there, or maybe the Auburn if I can come up the extra coin. Would like to regear as well, but we'll see.

Your tag doesn't even show you having a G80 now. Or is it in the blurred area?

At least you have more of a selection to get a rear end from and a cheaper price. Janesy and I have to get it from a 06 or newer to have all of the brake lines and stuff match up.

I dont have a G80. But from what i understand they dont stand up. Blow up or just not work right. I didnt know you had to get a 06 or newer.

I wasn't sure since you have a G80 listed for your drivetrain.

You don't have to get an 06 or newer but we do since they added an extra line for ABS I believe.

If you know you have a g80 and dont abuse it, it works just fine. I have not had any issue with mine, but I avoid mud and let it engage before stomping the throttle.

My brakes are full of crap and the abs kicks in when its not needed, but a quick spray of the hose should fix it up.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

My G80 was fine too... until it quit working right and I tore it apart and discovered that there's about 70,000 points of failure waiting to happen. I had it rebuilt (and working great again) for a whole week before I destroyed it on some rocks. The G80 by design puts a ton of strain on tiny spider gears when locked up.

The G80 is a street friendly, OEM grade traction helper. It's not designed for abuse, and IMO when (not if) it fails it's not worth sinking money into.

I can replace a snapped axle at camp easily. This, on the other hand, sucked...
