First off this is the build thread area... where you list what you have done/ mods.

And there are over 10 people that have used his idea, me included. Why can't you follow it? Its a good design and relatively cheap.

Mods move this or put it into the lightbar thread..

Don't worry about copying JD's design. He's not selling it nor is he selling rights to it.

He posted it so that others could make their own bars as well. Lots of members have followed his design.

Some of us have already copied James's lightbar idea, so that's an excellent place to start. I personally have some lights, but am waiting to build my roof rack so that I can put my lights on tabs I'm bolting into it, along with a clear plexi spoiler in front of the lights so that they aren't a part of the aerodynamics problem.

I changed the wording a little bit. Hopefully it makes it a little clearer.

Remember to check for subforum-specific rules... they will show up in the header, in an orange box.

To be honest I think most of us have the same mods as the other. SO dont feel bad for "copying" someone.

Especially as far as roof lights... not a ton of options anyways. You do it my way, or you bolt the lights through your roof.

That's why I posted my setup in detail anyways... just trying to help others.
