Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

new LCM, now TPMS?

Breaker 1-9, anybody got a copy? Any discussion or mods relating to electrons and wires go here.

As some of you know, i had some liftgate issues and scored a new one off an 07. Bolted right on, same connections, etc.... but now I have a flashing TPMS flashing on my dash.

So... is the TPMS in the liftgate? can I just add sensors if I actually wanted to use it? I'm probably just going to toss my old LCM in but was a thought.

I would guess that it's a coincidence.

I wonder if it's some weird CANBUS issue? I also have an 06, I can go pull the wiring out of my liftgate tonight before I go home and see if my light lights up.

I'm gonna swap the old lcm in and see if it goes back to normal
Edit: swapped lcm, tpms is off and key fob working again.

the part number on the 07 is different, but i swear there are hundreds of different lcm part numbers.

This is good info for me. I need to get a new lift gate from a junker because mine got a little close to a trailer tongue. It let's me know I might need to swap my LCM from mine when I do.

As long as your LGM is good why not swap it into there? Unless you don't mind reprogramming it for your key fob.
