FWIW, Kyle has his mounted exactly like that, but with a spring mount in the middle... We hit LOTS of branches and such this weekend, and it's still good to go...

Hey I may have put up a couple of those repeaters.. :poke: Some of those repeaters are connected to linked systems as well and reach out there to get you some help.

The antenna on that HMMWV are not really all that, they aren't even co-phased. I use to run with systems like that in the military each antenna is typically on a different radio in there.

Oh cool. Is it the Potato Patch that's right outside Prescott?

I would like to mount an antenna on a 1998 Subaru Forester. Do you have any suggestions for a luggage rack assembly? Thanks.

The guys on the following forum may have better input on this subject. I don't really know your roof rack system.

You can get any aftermarket roof rack and probably make it work. Just make sure you ground your rack well.

Also out of curiosity, what made you decide to join and post here? I mean no offense, but kudos to us if we can give better info than a subaru forum can.

It is intriguing...

Funny enough, I was actually at a Subaru dealership looking at/driving the new Forester Turbo when I ran into my Denali at the GMC dealer across the street.
