So I just got me Scanguage ll in from Amazon. I started messing around with it and all and it's awesome!!!! The features are great!!! The only thing is.... I bought it to monitor Trans Temps (TFT) so I went through the process of putting the codes in for that sensor. My TB is an 08 and in fact uses CANSF protocol. With that being said, that is the code I used. For GM vehicles. Once I got it in and double checked it, I tried to use it on my way to work today. And I added it to my 4 gauges and it read 32 TFT. The entire ride.... Did not change from 32. So on the Scanguage site, it says some Xguages need to add (01) to the end of the first code. So I tried that and made an entirely separate code with the (01) added and it didn't not read any number..... I am confused!!!!!!! Has anyone else had this happen? I know most of you fellas use these on your modded TB's and I would like it to work for the one thing I bought it for........ Thanks all!! Btw I would've contacted their support first but they will just say not all sensors are supported. But for 08 it says there are ZERO restrictions!!!!

I went through the same thing with my 02. It got so confusing I had to call customer service and they walked me through it.

Barton may be able to help you. I think he had the info on getting it to work correctly.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I entered about all the codes (with and without the 01) on my 2005 and went through them all and just found the ones that worked. I have not had any problems with any of my gauges. I had an original scan gauge (big square box from about 11 years ago) and every once in awhile it would freeze up and I had unplug it and restart it. I haven't had to go that with my 2, but might be worth a try.
