Recommendations for GOOD 2 way radios?

I'm looking for a good reliable set of portable 2 way radios. I've gone through 2 sets of the Motorola MR350R at work and I think they are junk. Any other options out there that won't break the bank?

dont know if these are really any better but you can program them with what you want for freqs baofeng BF88s ~ http://www.amazon.com/BAOFENG-BF-888S-T ... B007F7MZ04 but to a larger degree I feel there limits far exceed any drawbacks like no dispaly

I ordered 3 yesterday & when they arrive will be programming in the MURS UHF freqs for me & the family
Yellow Dot 464.550
Brown Dot 464.500
"J" Dot 467.7625
"K" Dot 467.8125
Silver Star 467.8500
Gold Star 467.8750
Red Star 467.9000
Blue Star 467.9250

they also have them in VHF if topography is a concern & then I'd use
151.820
151.880
151.940
154.570 Blue Dot
154.600 Green Dot
151.625 red dot

all of these whether it be UHF or VHf are avaialable to all US citizens as long as you run no more than 2 watts rf
