Elm 327, Apple iOS, and trans temp

Breaker 1-9, anybody got a copy? Any discussion or mods relating to electrons and wires go here.

I know it's been talked about and kicked around but I couldn't find a definite answer through search. Has anyone found a PID that actually works to monitor trans temp?

So, how exactly do I get trans temp to read in my torque pro? I have to input some sort of pid code? ...and it's only in the paid version of Torque (Torque Pro), right?

IN Torque Pro, you can go to setting>managePIDS> then there's an option to add GM, or Ford, or whatever specific PIDS. After you do that, it's just another gauge on the dash.

I have Torque Pro, so IDK if it works in the free version or not.

Isn't Torque Pro an Android app?

Idk if it's android exclusive, but I have an S5. The PIDs don't change regardless of the app you use, that's why I posted the number.

Basically, yes, there is a PID to monitor trans temp. However, I have no idea if Apple Ios apps can access it, I don't see why not though

Yes, Torque is for Android only. I don't think an Apple has the ability to handle what it does.

That says it reads custom PIDs, as well as supports Torque PIDs, so either way, with the PID I listed, should do it correct? As far as I know, the PID never changes, software just interprets it right?

That sucks... It works famously for me. Although in the Torque app it's in Celsius..
