I don't know anything about cb radios but was offered at cobra 25 and k40 mag mount antenna for $100. Is it a good radio and good price?

It's a good radio, but there's not a lot of room to mount them in the TB. I have one that I was going to mount in my truck, but being a stick and having a brake controller in it, I'm pretty much out of real-estate, without doing something weird. I'm just going to get another one of the Cobra "all in the microphone" 75 radios, and call it good.

The cb is a good and antenna is ok. But the price is to high for used. About the same new.

I think it's new in box. Does the 25 have PA speaker ability?

Yes, the 25 is a good radio, and does have PA functionality. IIRC, it has everything but side-band, which nobody uses any more, anyway.

Rather than asking and answering questions all day, here's all the info, since Cobra's site is currently down for maint.: http://www.walcottcb.com/cobra-25ltd-cl ... p-932.html

Unless you want to start working with stuff that makes your radio "big" and "loud," save yourself the trouble and go with what mike uses - the cobra all in one handheld unit. Its a complete and utter hassle mounting a standard/large size CB in the truck.

I understand the reviews. You started asking specs, though, so I just sent you to the place with the specs.

I agree with Josh. Myself and v7guy have a tiny little Uniden 510/520 Pro CB. It's smaller than the slave cd player that my truck had from the factory and it resides in the dash board in that spot.
