It's not wired up yet, but that was the idea behind adding it :excited: I am planning on 2 more lights near that area (side lighting), 4 lights on top rack (blazer-type aka roadie), and 2 blazer lights in the rear as aux and backup lights. That doesn't include the planned interior blackout LED upgrades (planning on a blackout switch to go from incandescent interior lights to red LEDs inside). So yeah, night runs are definitely planned, along with more camping convenience

You mean streetglow? :finger:

I'm thinking that I may just use LED clusters rather than a strip, sort of like theater sconce lighting. Makes it look less like I'm mall-cruising.

The boat is the girlfriend's mom's boyfriend's (complicated I know). Needs new outboard :-/ for over a year now. :shoot:

The f-body is the girlfriend's, and it's an LS1 with all the SLP goodies. :drive:

The cherokee is her mom's... not sure the mods, but it's the nice 4.0HO engine and the sport version. :safari:

My other toy is my 2007 Kawi Ninja 650R. It's my go-fast vehicle since I got rid of my 2+2 turbo eclipse. :woot:

Not sure how brendan plans on working on his wheels and stuff while driving down the road :raspberry:

I have two 5?? led clusters in each wheel well and thats not enough to really use as rock lights. Got some heavy duty 36 led strip that are cases on vinyl tubing to try when I figure out where I stuck the control box for them.

Lights look good on there.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

1. Yeah, or isn't it outdrive? Anyways, the drivetrain is broken.... don't know boat vocab.

2. Thanks, I think so too. She won't let me twin-turbo the car though... :(

3. I don't have HIDs. Nick did, and I was making a joke with the thread title making it sound like I was making an appearance mod. HIDs are way, waaaaay down my priority list.

4. Yeah, I'm probably going to just go with a few LEDs here and there, a la puddle lamps. If I really need to get out and look around, I have a flashlight.

You guys should look into the rainbow colored LED strips to match your sexuality.

Haha, I was actually looking at buying a few small (3" or so) waterproof warm white LED strips from oznium.com... none of that streetglow crap. Functional over flashy, these lights will only ever be used if I need to see something, be it rocks or the underside of my car.

Say what you want but mine have a serious amount of functionality.

helps working at night, illuminates the whole wheelwell and then some
use light to help keep tires through and around obstacles at night
helps inspecting brakes and tires in dark on trails

hate me if you want, i really dont care cause im sure tom will back me on how much theyve helped
