MOD: Overhead Console / Switch Panel

Breaker 1-9, anybody got a copy? Any discussion or mods relating to electrons and wires go here.

I wanted to put an overhead console in my TB for a couple of reasons: A garage door opener and a place for AUX light switches. Rather that go with console from a Trailblazer... I opted for a console out of a 2003 Tahoe. The Tahoe console also offers a couple of other things, such as added reading lights and a 3-way momentary switch which was for the rear glass. I have nothing that I can wire to this switch as of now... but who knows what the future may hold...

Test fit...

Looks really good brotha.. Once I get my lightbar wired up I'd like to do a swtich panel on my stock overhead console. Which in the future to have switches for a few other things.

How did you attach it to the roof btw?

That's a great mod. Did you have an existing TB console or just the Dome Lights? One more to add to my list.

I modified a 5-way power accessory adapter with independent switches. I cut off the accessory outlets and and terminated them in a power strip for later use. The switche console is stuck to the dash panel with adhesive tape and the wires run under the floor panel in the door back to underneath the rear passenger seat. The only thing currently connected is my beacon light for the job site.
