"REASONABLE PRICE"

Let me give some background on myself and my small business Moto Lumination.

I am a former US Navy Electronics Technician who served active duty 88-94.
Trusted with troubleshooting and repairing multi million dollar Satellite Systems.

I ended up in the Lighting Industry about 11 years ago working in design engineering, UL Testing, and sales.

In 2009, I started up Moto Lumination LED Accent Lighting. I call it my hobby/side business.

I don't have much overhead therefore I can be very competitive on price. I usually make a very modest profit and still be less expensive than large online retailers. Can I beat out every China factory seller on Ebay - NO and not too many people can. There are some good LEDs on Ebay and alot of crap also.

Most people don't know anything about LED lights so they just buy based on cost and their perceived value. There is a huge difference in quality/price of various LEDs on the market. They may look the same but they are not.

Believe me I don't make much money from Moto Lumination but I enjoy it immensely.
On the other hand I have to make a profit and I can't do everything for cost.
My profits usually just go back into the company and also I make alot of charity contributions from Moto Lumination proceeds.

In addition to Moto Lumination, I am a working lighting engineer for an American Made street lighting manufacturer in Illinois. We design and manufacturer specification grade decorative antique street lights and poles.

I have led strip lights mounted in some aluminum channel under the tb. 5' under each side, then 3' under the front and back.

I was also looking at putting a "kit" together but there really doesnt seem to be enough market.

I have $20 in channel, $30 in lights, then the misc wire, etc.

They are bright, and enough light reflects back up that I dont need a flashlight to work on anything under the truck

Might not be a huge market for them here, but there is a general demand among off-roaders. Just depends on how much marketing you want to do.

I think ORTB has more demand for utility and off-road lights.

You describe about a $60 kit that worked well for you. That was the exact price point I had in mind about $60-$70 for a kit with lights and all installation components. I am glad I am getting your inputs before I just throw some product up on here for sale.

I would be interested depending on price of course.
Toggle switch is fine for me, I need an excuse to build and mount a switch panel or plate anyways. :)
