I was talking to a buddy about the scan gauge, and he mentioned the ultragauge. He has used one before an a lot of members on his forum do. The price can't be beat, but I'll let you guys take a look and see what you say. I might buy one in the near future to try.

That looks like a great product...it keeps up with a lot of things happening in the truck and that screen display is nice. I was worried that it would be suction cup only mounting because people like to break into cars with suction rings on the windshield, but you can throw the Velcro mounts on there which will work well. I use Velcro for my police scanner and it holds it up well. I am going to add this to near future purchases.

I may be wrong but it seems this thread has come to a sudden stop. I recently came across these ultra gauges and was wondering the same thing. So this is kind of like a bump to the thread to see if any other members were using them.
I looked into the to see what the gauge would display and from what I can read the majority of data. the main one I want was transmission temp.
I also seen that is was able to be calibrated for speed odometer error. So if any of you have used this, what are your thoughts?

Yes, I think 5 years ago was indeed a sudden stop, haha. Anyway, I've been considering one, but the one thing to note is that there are 2 models. One is for transmission temp, and one doesn't have trans temp but does have all the 1/4 mile, 0-60, etc. stuff.

I was going to pull the trigger on one, but figured to just use the torque app on the old phone since it can apparently do trans temp and that is my big concern typically.
they've always worked for me.

I think the more expensive one 80.00? was the one that shows trans temp. Not a bad price to have a heads up on your vitals.

I got the Scangauge but the ultra is cheaper and seemingly just as functional.
