This was from my local "Proving Grounds".



However I quickly realized that the ground is still way too saturated. This was a 30' mud hole... and I got stuck about 15' in. Luckily I worked myself loose after a few reverse/forward cycles.



So, deciding the ground was way too soft right now, I headed back home.

I know it's got one of those "other" GM's in it, but i've always thought it was a cool pic. Taken at "The B" in Belen, New Mexico.

I love the pic with the H3 in it. I almost bought one, but found the TB and do love it. I love getting out on the trails and seeing hummers and fj's and jeeps hanging out where the Trailblazer is playing.

I agree I like the picture of the H3 with the Trailblazer in it. Gotspeed I like the way the TB looks! Also looks like an awesome place to drive around in.

Went out to the mining claim last weekend. I don't have many pics, I'm still trying to get them out of my friends wife. She had some good one's of a couple creek crossings, but they have slow speed, so I'll have to get a CD from them soon.. anyways, what I've got so far!


Turning around in a TIGHT spot.. You wouldn't know it, but there is a 200FT drop off infront of the truck leading to the creek..

Sorry haven't had time to post up about a few recent trips, but here's a couple of teaser shots, including some flex right at the limit.







The recently washed out trail (Rockhouse Canyon - Borrego) was about three miles of these rocks pushed by a flood into the trail

Front bar disco'd - rear connected with SMAXX links. Didn't think I'd be doing that until the rock presented itself and I saw tire tracks on it. You just can't perch on that sort of rock with a stock bumper.

Those are the 9500s with the new upsized shock body. The "plain old" BDS shocks I used to have were retired.

So would a new purchse of new bds 9500s be the same setup?

Yes. New BDS purchases (either hydraulic or gas pressurized) would get the upgraded cylinder. Sized for being able to handle the Tahoe Z71 springs that are now very, very highly Roadie-and-Teebes recommended gear. (edited)

It did when I dropped the front left into that hole.

I cheated when I went up it and avoided the hole altogether.
