Great video, just the right length for shot attention spans! That was worth all the stops IMHO. Excellent work. Now to share the tar out of that video.

You got a lot into that 6 minutes, I really like it. I always like seeing the videos from TECORE. I would love to see more if it wasn't too much trouble.

Awesome video James

Hey mikekey was that you at the 5:30 mark with a Glock on your right hip? I only ask cause I thought I read somewhere that they didn't allow firearms in GWNF

I'm not sure exactly where I saw it and the GWNF site seems messed up right now but Rider Planet has them as prohibited

http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_d822.htm

But looking through the thread that Firefox has tagged from the wrangler forum one his last run has a couple people saying you are safe with a concealed permit. And I have one

I read the same thing when I was researching it for my own purposes. According to MDB and others, that is old information. ~2 years ago they passed a law allowing carry in National Forests in Va.

But at one point in time, you were not supposed to carry in National Forests in Va.

When I was a member of the VCDL I recall an ongoing court battle over national parks and forests. They fall under federal jurisdiction sometimes and the National parks to this day illegally imposs firearm restrictions. The big squabble was that states over rule and have the right to permit it. I think the VCDL was one of the groups challenging it. Carry is allowed, but th don't want people knowing it. Been awhile since I followed the going ons in Va since I moved.

James, the video turned out great, pretty obvious you've got some time into it, appreciate you putting it together!

-------

As mentioned, there was some fuss a few years back, currently you're good to go though. If you're concearned anyways you can get a non resident conceal carry permit pretty easily online.
