OffroadTB Watermark

Discussion of photos, video, cameras, and post-processing.

by SaltWaterDrinker » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:37 am

Good morning everyone!

For use in PhotoShop CS5...does some sort of watermark/logo exist where I can add it to photos? I've see it in some professional photographs from BDS and a few other off road outfitters, but I haven't seen one of ours.

Thanks in advance!

I only know of how to do the water mark like the ones on my storm chasing pics from last year... Have been wanting to know this same thing.

You know...if anyone has the thing from the decals that were floating around, one might be able to make one out of that...right?

What exactly are you looking for... to brand your image with the offroadtb.com logo?

You can steal the logo from the top bar if you'd like... just gotta use a magic wand tool to get rid of the white background.

I'll get on that - thank you! But yes, that is exactly what I'm doing. When/if people look at my pictures, they'll be directed here.

My only worry about branding your images with our logo is that you're essentially representing this site with your images. Please make sure that the images that you brand represent the best of ORTB, meet our rules, and show off-roading in the best light. Use your best judgement.

Thanks for wanting to spread the word.

No worries - I totally understand. I only have two in mind at the moment - one of which is on the front page of the site, and the other is my "current picture." I don't intend on putting it on any other photo unless it is similar in nature.

If you have a good photo editing sw they usually have a watermart tool i know photoshop cs5 that i use has it in the full version and it lets you use any image then turns into a watermark but they are all removable with a little use of clone tool and some other nifty tricks

Yalchga - I have CS5 - I'll get on it as soon as I can...I've just been busy with school work and doing my truck stuff. Heck, I might do it tonight if I'm angry enough - we'll see. I'll be sure to post it as soon as I can.
