Hmmm... all this debate has me not really caring about a rank... If anything, it'd be more fun IMO to have custom titles for some of our senior members and up, something personal to everybody.

example: Roadie: "Master Navigator" :poke: (j/k Bill, something more like "Glamping Mentor" would probably be more appropriate)

These titles could reflect how all of us in the ORTB community view the member, and could serve to inform new members perhaps.

Any thoughts?

:Iagree: With all this back and forth about what I've done, or what this person has done or how much this guy has wheeled... Maybe we should all stand in a circle, whip it out and get it done with :bow down: .

I think this is a great way to get people more into taking pictures and documenting, for this platform. But not if its going to make a hassle for the Big Three. :wallbash: . If it wasn't for those guys, we wouldn't have this ever growing site, and the last thing I would want to happen is for the guys to get burnt out on it because they have to deal with people arguing about who has more experience over the next person.. If you guys keep hammering them about places to put your name and other irrelevant stuff they will get burnt out quick.. Put your name in your Sig, quit telling everyone what you've done in the past and pack up your truck and show us what you can do....!!!

Offroad Rated (both TECORE's, Wharton and Nepaug State Park)

Links to TECORE II is here, TECORE I is on OS, but JD was there, and Wharton is here as well.

Wrong thread buddy!

I'm going to lock this one so noone makes the mistake again.

Also, for reference, "Trail rated" does not exist, the options are below:

* Trail Ready: posted proof of at least one off highway trip.
* Offroad Rated: lifted truck and posted proof of at least 3 off highway trips, one of which should be considered non-stock passable.
* Offroad Guide: guided at least three trips with numerous vehicles, has experience of vehicle recovery.
* Expedition Rated: anyone taking trips of over 5 nights involving off road travel and logistics.
