Hi Folks...

We're getting ready to roll out a new look and feel to our lovely little community. The forum section should remain online and usable throughout our maintenance window. The majority of updates will occur on the WWW portion of our site between 7pm - 9pm PST tonight, 11/13. Uh oh, Friday the thirteenth :friday: :friday:

While the changes may appear minimal, this update is a milestone for us and will serve as the foundation for even more goodies down the road.

Thanks and happy wheelin'...

Wordpress, interesting choice for a front end! I know a lot about it, I have a few hundred installs running and I've spent a lot of time working on securing it - well, as secure as it can be made anyway. I'm sure you've got everything you need, but if you have questions, you know, well, fire away. :thumright:

Aren't you supposed to be like WORKING or something?!?

Seriously, that was the extent of my knowledge on the subject. Except now reading up on it more, and realizing my Godaddy-hosted roadie.org can run it, I may be putting it on. I've been totally wasting the domain for image hosting and email when I should at least have a little trip report capability there.

You forget.. This IS my job.

LOL... Speaking of your site. You realize the photo gallery you have is years out of date, right :poke: :finger: I don't think I've seen an image get updated on there since I joined trailvoy :raspberry:

Yes, I hate my site. :shoot: The gallery was just an automatic thing that Photoshop 5.5 generated. I played with Dasblog for a few weeks, then got distracted and worked on the Roadiemobile more.

What could you do if I gave you the password and a case of your favorite beer? You could probably fix it from your phone and ten keystrokes I realize. Image

You'll also notice we are testing out a "Rank" system. More details on that later. :finger:

I noticed no rank testing! :viking:

Back to the topic at hand though, very excited about the new redesign, and what a coincidence, getting a new phone tomorrow so that I can browse the new ORTB!

Changes are complete. Check out the new digs: http://www.offroadtb.com (links have also been updated up top in the forum nav).

We'll continue tweaking and tuning as we go, but for now it's :friday: time.

Enjoy!

Nice set up. Laid out well. Is that going to work for the entire site or just when you click the homepage ?
