Or members have to carry a mall rated tag in their signature until they get a current photo of them off roading in their TB!

When 'they' first set up the site that's how it was... I think 0-25 posts was mall-rated then it changed to noobie.

I already did that without requirement. What's weird is, I had a dream last night I was off-roading (and pulling a full size car trailer?) and had to make sure I stopped and took pics to post here and specifically for the approval of JamesDowning.

As it currently sits guys:

- Lurker @ 0
- Newbie @ 1
- Cruiser @ 10
- Member @ 50
- Trail-Blazer @ 100
- Off-Roader @ 200

It used to say Mall-cruiser instead of Cruiser, but some people took offense to it.

For those of you closing in on the 500 mark, we have some more ranks for you to attain.

It seems a consensus is evolving. Is a change terribly difficult to make. These ideas may lend to the overall perception regarding the groups ideals for where it is one should be heading and thought process when fielding questions here rather than on the OS. ;)

That sounds as philosophical as one of my less coherent posts. :coffee: I figure if a noob acts in an adult way, reading more than posting, learning more than telling us what WE should be doing, they don't need a Mall-Cruiser tag in their face. If they act like a Mall Cruiser they'll be told quite quickly what the culture is, if they didn't absorb a clue when they first arrived.

Heck, we could apply an informational tag to anybody who fits the profile:

Mall Cruiser.
Fone-Speek Texting Shorthander.
Former Show & Shine enthusiast who hasn't given up all their wax and polish yet.
