The Roadie wrote:Trailvoy is insane now with Vertical Scope's banner ads, sidebar ads, ads DISGUISED AS THE FIRST POST IN THREADS LIKE THEY'RE STICKIED, and even ads plastered across embedded pictures like they were part of the pictures. Also ads that pop up if you hover your cursor too long over a keyword somebody's paid for. Evil stuff.

Man, thanks for all those great ideas Bill! Especially the ads disguised as stickies!

Wow, that really is evil. I think they've recognized that the site is dead, and decided to just wring it for all it's worth.

My understanding is that the ad content is partly based on page content, but mainly based on your google search history. So my question is - what have you been searching for?!?!

I know, that is why it was a surprise. I mainly search for car parts, mower parts, golf cart parts etc. REally most of my time is spent either here, on a sports forum or CL.

advertised a mazda trailer hitch for a car, so I had to click and see what the heck it was. :slap: some place called etrailer.com turns out it has all kinds of cool trailblazer parts :work: including nifty little headlight lens covers so you don't scratch yours while you're working under the hood  so the ad kinda made sense :poke: aside from the mazda thing... :coffee:
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.
