I know we have been getting a lot of new folks lately asking similar questions....
I know we generally ask them to search and read and give them some links.
Is there a way to put together a welcome thread that has a readers digest version with the links they need?
Is there a way to direct (or force) them there during their first log in? Maybe it could be like a terms and conditions acceptance box, maybe that is too strong. If nothing else when they post their intro thread one of us can direct them to the thread with all the info.

I know a lot of times we tell them to search but many times the new guys don't even know what to search for yet.

We've been VERY slowly compiling a FAQ thread. But it's still in it's infancy.

Yes, that is what we have in mind, but more in-depth.
