I think maybe we should have a secondary contest to see who can get the muddiest truck being washed at a high school cheerleader prep squad fundraiser. ;)

edit: I bet Roadie already thought of this one a while back.

What do you think? I can crop it, but I think it takes away from the pic. (I do have a Hi-Res version on my HD somewhere.)

I guess people don't want the swag that comes with winning this contest. Hell, I've got a ton of pics I can submit, but I'm not able to compete... lol

The fourth one is actually from direct on side, but would any others qualify?

Well I'd enter, but I won last year so no need to...

And as for pics, I'm not positive, but from what I remember, last year JD wanted it to be just a side profile, just like the logo, so that it can be swapped for the winners TB/Envoy. Not 100% sure like I said, but from when I won it was just my truck that was cropped out, background didn't matter... Not sure what JD is looking for this year, the same as last or do something a bit different?

a lot of folks might be like me, compared to a lot the TB's on this board my TB isn't worthy yet to even enter the contest.
Still work to be done.

We are accepting all kinds of submissions. The winning picture will really depend on how well we like the shot. If we like a shot with background, I'm pretty sure we'll keep the background. So direct side or slight angle submissions will be considered. No front/rear view shots... Climbing, descending, splashing... ANYTHING as long as its not on pavement.

That is the wrong way of thinking navigator. This is for all of us with equal chance to show our trucks. The pic should show not where you are but where you are going and want to be. The people who have the gear offered as an enticement can show there trucks off as well, only they may not need take the gear if they win, rather send it on to someone more needing such as you. :coffee2:

Everyone should take the pride in posting a pic here if no where else. I'd bet the unexpected winner happens this year. To all GOOD LUCK!

Exactly! This is not only for those with heavily modified trucks. If you get out there and use your truck, there are plenty of situations where a slightly modified vehicle can look just as awesome as one that is heavily modified. Not to toot my own horn here... but take a look at the BDS Section logo. You can't tell what kind of mods my truck has besides a Waag and lights.

:Iagree:

Honestly if I win, all I want is the shackles (I need some extras) and my pic on the website. Everything else can go to the next guy.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
