With the time allowed, and the dates set, I'm surprised that more people aren't going to make this. I know things didn't get set as quickly as some may have wanted, but TECORE was being set up initially so it took preference.

Lets see more get signed up!!

My wife has had some medical issues that is likely going to prevent me from making it. I wouldn't count on me being there.

It saddens me to see such a low attendance on such a big trip. I know it's a big commitment of time and money, especially for us east-coasters and had I not just taken a week off of work, I'd be going. It's still tempting though...

Well, the time is much closer now, I have the time off as does my wife and my friend who will also be coming. I'm still down to meet and run with whom ever still plans to attend.

Have not yet been to Moab and regardless of how many will or wont be going I plan on heading down and having some fun just the same. Even if we don't have set trail plans and what not. We can simply plan to set up camp and then go by area if needed. Would just need to know if there are any permits needed by anyone who has been before.

Permits are needed for backcountry camping in the NP's and are first come first serve. BLM land no, just obey any posted signs. There are no needed "offroad" permits or ORV permits needed. Just obey signs posted, they are a plenty out there.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Glad to hear you're going Noel. I'm sorry that there aren't more attending. I'm unsure who all is going to be there at this point.

And Greg and I have to flake out as well. Greg has a new job, and my wife also has medical issues so I can leave her for a long weekend but probably not much more than that until we get her sorted out. I might get to Vegas and get with Greg for that weekend, but can't spend 12 hours driving, one day of wheeling, and 12 hours home. Just can't safely drive all nighters anymore.
