If this turns into an annual trip for you all then I will definitely be a vehicle in convoy with you all. It has been 8 years since I have been in that part of the country and I really miss it.

Matt we'd love for you guys to join us. This will probably be kind of a regular yearly activity, it was kind of timed to match with our anniversary anyways.

Hey guys, hate to say this, but we won't be taking this trip this year. But we're passing it up for a very exciting reason. I'll post up shortly why!

I'm going to revive this, as one last Trailblazer grand roadtrip west next year. Either early June or Sept 2014. Before we transition to our next adventure in 2015.

So if there is anyone that might be interested in meeting up here or there, feel free to post your interest.

Going to start forming a plan for what I need to accomplish with the TB with the addition of a kid and then plan some of the spots we'd love to revisit, and then figure out a time frame. :thumright:

Sounds awesome... I wish we had a trip planned to head back. It's going to be an interesting contrast for you heading out there with a <1yo.

I am afraid that I will be out for the trip. We are going to Hawaii in July for my fathers 80th birthday and I really doubt that both trips are going to be in the budget so close together. I would gladly sacrifice the Hawaii trip, but I am sure there is no way to convince the wife. Plus the whole 80th birthday thing!

If you happen to put a day at the Badlands or Windrock on the trip schedule I would be able to join you.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

Yeah I might just do August Again. It's super hot out there in August, just depends. I will really be able to set a date in Jan after the baby has arrived and I have thought about some of the more fine details of doing a trip with a child.

The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Um, for us that'd be Florida. :) But as for actual offroad adventure, we've not solidified our plans yet. I'd put money on somewhere in the Utah/CO area.
