I know its short notice and only a couple of Utah guys here.

Saturday. Going on the Pony Express trail from Ceder Fort route to end in Simpson springs Saturday. Return via Dougway road to I-80. So far 3 of us going. 2 TBs and a Chev 1500. We have a Jeep as a possible as well if he can talk his wife into it.

Meet at the Chevron station at the Lehi Crossroads at 7:00 AM Saturday morning. We leave there no later than 7:15 AM. Snow is forcast so dress/equip accordingly.

:flex dirty:

Was a slushy mess. But tires make a huge difference.

Ask and you shall receive. Sorry had to resize them before I could post em. :flex dirty:

This is what was on my phone, the best pictures are on my wifes SLR digital camera. Last time I tried to download them I erased the pictures. I was banned from doing that again. :slap: She said she would download them for me this week sometime. I can update the thread then. The Jeep didn't make it and the Chev. 1500 backed out (Never showed up) so it was a 2 TB trip. His name is Justin, he is a Jeep guy, and he is a stud. He brought his wifes TB out just so I could get some pics of two TBs instead of a Jeep. Cool guy.

The first one is sunrise at the main road fork where we stopped on a hill before dropping into the main valley that leads to the salt flats.

Second one is my truck stopped as we were waiting for Justin to catch up over a messy hill. In the upper right of the picture you can see the road through the valley to the next set of mountains. Over those mountains through a pass is the Salt Flats and Simpson Springs.

Last shot is Justin in his TB making it over the hill. He has no lift, aftermarket rims and BFG All Terrain tires. But it has the G80. After seeing his TB in action my next project on this truck is either the larger rear with a locker or at the very least a G80. Mine is an open diff.

This is in order.

1st is the graded road heading to the trail,

2nd is the turnoff from graded road to the canyon trail road.

3rd is in the canyon heading over the pass.
