Would anyone be interested in going to RC on either the 27th or 28th?

More information here:
http://www.rc4x4.org/sis/faqs.php

Thinking we can use it as both a good day out as well as a nice informational/ training day. Park has everything from stock passable greens to 6ft+ deep water pits to comp rock crawling course.

Let me know if this tickles anyones interest. Im free and able to go both days so let me know asap so i can make the reservation

You know I want to get out there. Just can't take weekdays off from work. I used up my vacation days getting sinus surgery back at the end of January into feb. I missed the last time my other group went in Feb due to bronchitis and 2 feet of snow :wallbash: .

Gimme a month+- and I'll be up for the trip. I am simply not equipped like I was before and need some time to build it up again.

Thanks Brendan  . You lit a fire under my ass. After reading this thread, I just ordered my engine/trans skid plate. Still gonna' need a t-case plate but it dosen't hang as low at the oil pan and trans.

Hope you get a decent turn out for this trip !

You're probably going to want rock sliders if you hit anything blue.

If you don't have rock sliders, be VERY careful... or hit only greens.

Thanks. I saw the pix from the last time you were there. I will have mine welded on before then.

I actually added to my skid plate order after talking to a rep at Skid Row. I am getting a full set of plates now minus the gas tank plate. I will be rolling with my factory gas skid for the time being. The transfer case plate actually protects all but 2 inches of the factory gas tank plate up front. the frame rail rides along the right long side of it too. Added bonus to my wallet. :excited:

We will be hitting some pre-determined blues. I wrote down the trails that you suggested that I hit before. Thanks again.

The membership costs $15 and is good for a year from the date you join. This membership requirement applies to passengers as well as drivers. Once you are a member, the daily entrance fee for the vehicle and its driver is $35.00. Passengers are $7 each with children 15 and younger free.
