A big thank you to JD for noticing this spot on Google Maps...

Success Lake is about 10 miles south of where I live. Decided to take a trip out there to do some recon. Brendan came down and joined me for the ride.

Water table is still very high due to all the rain recently. We hit a few holes that were kind of deceiving. Long dirt road with lots of little trails branching off of it. We had some fun, then Brendan got stuck. As he was getting stuck, some dude in a Jeep shows up and they started talking some smack, saying they could do that pit in 2 wheel drive.... Well, I pulled Brendan out, and shortly after, I had to pull out the Jeep... HAHAHA. They ended up being kind of cool and we followed them around since they were more familiar with the area... Shortly after... Brendan got stuck again... LOL

The place is definitely a nice spot to do some wheeling. Didn't run into any hills or such, but the driver of the Jeep said that there was a spot that had some, just didn't recall where exactly.

Now the pics!

Here we go again... lol. I'm not the one who got stuck... matter of fact, I'm the one who pulled everyone out. I'm going to start a tally system on my truck, like racers do the vehicles they've killed in a race...

Add yourself to that you've done self recovery before. And your not wheeling if you don't get stuck, then your just pussyfooting on trails...

Brendan at least 5 times and he gets the award for longest recovery, spent 3 hours trying to get his fat @$$ out one night.

Of course i get stuck cause i push the limits, that how you know your truck. My first stuck was me going up on 3 wheels sideways in a rut, couldnt see that it was there because of the water. 2nd was hitting a go-around for a redic deep pit, hense why a snorkel is so important for us. It was get stuck or loose a motor and a $300 tow bill. I chose get stuck.

BTW im not even fat you ass :shoot:

Brendan, you get any good pics? You should have been taking pics while I was extracting the Jeep...

I'm sure we can spend an entire day at this place and get into some really nice stuff. I'm anxious to see the hill climbs that are available here.
