It's been talked about and kicked around, so lets set something up for the fall! Hopefully my TB will be back in shape by them, I got the parts from Matt a few months ago and need to get them on the truck.

I'm thinking mid October, either the 7th-9th or 14th-16th.

Opinions?

I would be good for either weekend.

:drool3: I'd love to participate. Will be watching to see when it goes down!

Homemade Skid was an epic fail. Looks like I need to try to order one by late July to be ready to go! More motivation to get it on there

Dang, I would love to come but I'm not sure if I can get that far away from home for that long during the school year. My birthday is the first of October, I wonder if I could schedule something.

Any thoughts as to where we go? I know Hardtrailz mentioned before that you pretty much always go the same place, would that be the case now too?

I kind of like that area for this, going to a park would change the spirit of it too much. I don't really go to GWNF any other trips.

I was not thinking one of the smaller parks like around here, but either another public area or one of the big parks like rush or windrock that are 7,000 and 35,000 acres respectively. Although I do not think those trips would be "TECORE" but just another group venture potentially.

TECORE is seemingly set to the basics of where it is and works well for what it is. If not it would not have lasted this long and had so many participants over the years. It is a great all-inclusive trip for those starting and those that just want to get together and hangout without worry over really pushing the truck. A great trip for those that travel far since you have a great chance of no major issues leaving you stranded, but allows you to be in the backwoods and meet some other members in a beautiful piece of this great country.

Just to get this back up on the recent posts.
Started making a list today of things I want to get done and ready by mid to late September. Rear 2" lift, skid plate, full size spare. Looking at around 800$ Including whatever I need for food/ gas ext. already own camping gear and some basic recovery gear! Looking forward to this happening!

If I can find time to get the swap done by then I'll be down. Time is the key, seem to never have enough.

I'm pretty doubtful I'll make an October trip.
