Think about it... should be a fun ride.

So we're thinking the Atsion entrance? Assuming that everyone will be fueling up and getting all supplies beforehand?

I plan on being at the entrance at 9-9:30... I'll be getting some coffee and stuff up the road first...

Dunno that's about 45 minutes from there, so whenever is fine. And a little bit of water will help traction going up the slope, too much and we'll be sliding all over.

I'm still in pending its not torrential downpour day of...

I want to get out there and wheel, but I like to be able to get out of the truck every now and then, especially if a photo-op presents itself.

Last time I was in Wharton, it was perfect. Rained all the way down, once we all met up at the entrance, it stopped. Was dry and sunny all day while we wheeled. Rain picked up again right after we left. Washed off all the mud.

I'd prefer keeping the numbers down... too many trucks because a pain in the ass waiting for everyone. 4, 5, is good... 6 or more starts getting annoying. Just my $0.02

According to the tread lightly principles, you should avoid wheeling on trails when the ground is saturated. It leads to quicker erosion of the trail and more silt in the runoff, which is ammunition for the anti-4WD activists.
